Pisol Manatchinapisit

A native of Thailand, Pisol was born in Bangkok, 1997.

At the age of four, he joined the music program for children at the Music Campus for General Public, College of Music, Mahidol University (Seacon Square Campus), and then started his saxophone lessons when he was 10 with Prof. Nuttawut Suksangjan, Annawin Kerdteesud and Promwut Sudtakoo. Later, he has joined the Assumption College Samutprakarn Symphonic Band.

As an aspiring young saxophonist he received several awards such as 2nd prize and 3rd prize from Rangsit University String Combo Competition (2010 and 2011), 1st and 2nd Mahidol Saxophone Camp, 1st prize Thailand International Wind Ensemble 2013, 2nd prize from 16th Settrade Young Music Competition 2013.
Recently, he won 3rd prize in the 1st Asian Saxophone Congress International Competition.

He had studied and had masterclasses with world renowned saxophonists, including Jean-Marie Londeix, Andy Scott, Dr. Chiu HuanWu, Dr. Scolt Turpen, Masato Kumoi, Dr. Kenneth Tse, David Nabb, Nobuya Sugawa, Lars Mlekusch, Joonatan Rautiola and Claude Delangle.

Currently, Pisol is pursuing his Bachelor of Arts studies in ZHdK, Zürich, Switzerland.
