My name is Petra Eszter Toth, I was born in Budapest in 1998.
I started to study music at the age of 7.
I studied the flute at the music school from 2005 to2010. In 2011 I started to learn the saxophone. From 2013 I studied at Saint Stevens Musical Secondary School in Budapest with Mónika Soós, and in 2017 I got accepted to the University of Music in Zurich.
In 2014 and 2015 I took part in the Young Musicians Summer Academy in Debrecen, where I participated in master classes of Levente Puskás, Mario Giovannelli, and Jérôme Laran.
With the wind orchestra of my school I’ve had the opportunity to play at the Palace of Arts and the Congress Center in Budapest, and the Kodály Center in Pécs as well.
Once I’ve had the chance to play under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle, which was a decisive experience.
