Born in 1996 in Astorga, a little village in the north of Spain, he started studying saxophone with eight years old. In 2014 he finished the Middle Studies of music at C.P.M. Ángel Barja in Astorga after years of learning experience with teachers David Rubio and Víctor Cascallar. After that, is accepted to study In Musikene, the Higher School of Music of the Basque Country in San Sebastián, under the tutelage of professors Miguel Ángel Lorente and Thomas Barthelemy. In june 2018, he completed the bachelor degree programme with high marks.
In his learning process he has attend classes of important saxophonist like Antonio Felipe, Mariano García, Gilles Tressos, Ensemble Squillante or Christian Wirth, as well as the oportunity to work with composers as Alberto Posadas, Ramón Lazkano, Johan de Meij or Pascal Gaigne.
As a result of his interest on chamber music, he has made numerous concerts throughout Spain and Europe, highlighting the activity being part of the Musikene Saxophone Ensemble with performances in Barcelona, Seville, Brussels or the headquarters of the Henri Selmer brand in Paris. In adittion, he has participated in diverse projects like Music Therapy concerts “Music Capsules” in the Hospital Oncológico de Donostia, or several performances with saxophone quartets and saxophone and percussion duet.
He has worked as a collaborator with the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, in a programme with the conductor Jean-Philippe Wurtz and the composer Alberto Posadas. He has worked as a collaborator with the Bilbao Municipal Band, with the conductor Jose Rafael Pascual Vilaplana.
In 2018, he formed with some partners Icaro Ensemble. A musical project formed by saxophone, percussion and other instruments to work on contemporary music cooperating with young composers. The objective of the ensemble is to explore new sounds working on both electronic and acoustic music as well as interdisciplinary activities. They have performed in different stages in Spain, being part of the programmation of the festival Quincena Musical of San Sebastián in august 2018.
From September 2019 is part of the Saxophonclass of Lars Mlekusch, studying the Master of Saxophone Performance program in Zürich School of Arts (ZHdK).
